Synopsis

An elite, extra-dimensional security force “recruits” Ms. VICTORY as a new member. Can the rest of the FEMFORCE stop her abduction? NIGHTVEIL returns to her quest for the Cloak of Darkness and stumbles upon a malevolent force instead, SHE-CAT must outwit an AI construct, and TARA’s Jungle Island faces a new threat. If THE most renowned, supremely-powerful security force in all the realities came to select YOU as it’s newest member, that would be quite a compliment, right? But, if the “honor” was basically bestowed against your will AND turned you into an inhuman creature, it might not be such a great deal after all, and that’s the danger Ms. VICTORY faces in “March of the Etherium”; written by Andrew Hawnt with art by Javier Lugo and Jeff Austin, and it may take the combined effort of the rest of the FEMFORCE to keep Ms. V on Earth and among them. NIGHTVEIL’s loss of the awesome Cloak of Darkness has been her biggest regret and greatest shame, but when she finally is able to resume her search for it, her first step leads to a fearsome force of evil instead. Strange things have been happening on TARA FREMONT’s Jungle Island as of late, but when new hazards (both legal and otherwise) to control of the wildlife refuge come up, a full-time security monitor must be installed- but it WON’T be TARA herself!! And, when threats on the life of an unassuming software engineer baffle both him and the police, it’s up to SHE-CAT to figure out that the source is something non-human, in “One Shot”, scripted by Andrew Hawnt. Then, that interplanetary adventurer STORMY TEMPEST returns to face the fight of her life in “The Maze”, written by Mark Heike. All of these gripping adventures (featuring great art by AC regulars including Dave Matsuoka, Francesco Savi, Florentino Cuevas, Jeff Austin and others) and a few more surprises will be found in FEMFORCE #186!
